Vi and Cal finished washing up from dinner.  While she talked about the most recent crazy thing her mother had done, Vi put the last of the silverware away, and Cal opened a new bottle of wine, pouring two glasses.  They each carried a glass into the living room.  The easy conversation of early in the evening dwindled down until they were sitting ( Read more... )
